Application Procedure

The Diagnostic Radiology Residency program at Northwestern is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

General Information

Residents may enter the program after completing medical school (MD/DO) from an accredited US or Canadian college and one post-graduate year of clinical training in an ACGME or RCPSC accredited internal medicine or surgery program. The clinical year may also include a transitional year accredited by the ACGME.

The Department of Radiology participates in the National Residency Matching Program. Applications for residency are only accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service.

Following initial evaluation of the applications by our review committee, individuals are offered formal interviews. Interviews are by appointment only and are conducted in November, December, and January. Read about the Interview Day at Feinberg.

There are 9 PGY2 positions available for match starting July 2018.
