Pediatric imaging research strives to perform impactful imaging research studies in children, contribute to pediatric imaging literature, foster and mentor staff, student, resident and fellow research interests, support pediatric and adult colleagues in their research efforts. This is research effort is based in downtown medical campus of Northwestern University in the newly-built state of the art Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (Lurie Children’s).
Feinberg pediatric imaging research includes:
- Functional cardiovascular 4D magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in congenital heart disease
- Diffusion weighted MRI for assessment of brain tumors
- Measurement of brown fat adiposity using MRI
